Oh Brother, A Nico and Tugger Tale

Written by Kimberly Sentek and Illustrations by Eumir Carlo Fernandez

Nico and Tugger are 2 dogs that have become brothers and this is a story about how that came to be. I enjoyed reading this book so much although I believe it's meant for children but it's also a book adults will surely enjoy reading as well. Nico was an only dog for so long and he wasn't too keen in the idea of making nice with Tucker at first. So he just stayed away as far away as he could from the sweet little Tucker puppy. But it didn't take long for the boys to decide that they liked each other and so that's just what they did.
A very cleverly told story that siblings of all kinds will identify with and enjoy. The pictures are adorable and well done. The story is actually a true story and so lovers of non fiction like myself will certainly enjoy this tale of 2 dogs. Perfect reading choice for little dog lovers like my grand sons Dan and Dominic who will get a kick out of this book. This is on the shelf to be read to them on their next visit.

I received this book from the author and or the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

  3. You are very welcome Kim. The book was a joy to read. I can't wait to read this to my grand sons. They love dogs and a story about dogs that are brothers is going to be a big hit with them. Looking forward to the next book.
