The Blizzard of Oz

There is nothing quite so pretty as a snow scene.  This picture was taken with my phone early this morning after just a few hours of snow.  But the snow has continued and now  after a short break we are expecting more snow. I can't wait to across the street and play with the dogs. This is Topeka, Kansas and weather changes here all the time.  The kids are home because it's a snow day so I have a feeling that there will be some memory making times ahead for the neighborhood children. Snowballs, snowmen and some sledding will be on their agenda.  I had so much fun as a child growing up in Massachusetts.  Playing in the snow and making snow forts and igloos and throwing snowballs oh yes, those were great memories.
